Bodies:
Canon EOS 6D
The Canon 6D is my main body. This camera is fantastic, I love everything about it.
The 6D does great in low light, takes very good video, and is a great all around Full Frame camera at a fair price for every day photography.
The only problem that I have with the 6D is the autofocus system, it can be slow at times. I love shooting wildlife, and the 6D is decent, but many times the focus will not lock on a flying bird, or the picture just won't come out clear, because the focus will be locked on the background.
Overall, the 6D is a camera I would easily recommend for someone wanting to do Portrait, Landscape, or just everyday photography.
Canon EOS 80D
The Canon 80D surprised me. The ergonomics are excellent (very similar to the 6D, didn't take me much time to get adjusted to). The AF system is perfect. It may not be the super high class of the D500, or the 7DII, but it holds its own, and the tracking is excellent.
This will now become my main Camera body that I use for Sports/Wildlife. Something that is fantastic about the 80D is the Touchscreen - I love videoing wildlife along with photographing it, and this feature is extremely helpful to keep tack sharp focus on the animal.
I would definitely recommend this camera to someone looking for not only a good wildlife camera, but a great everyday camera.

Lenses:
Canon 24-105mm f4L IS USM
My main go to lens is the Canon 24-105mm.
This lens has its ups and downs, but for me, it works great.
Sometimes the aperture can be a bit of a problem for indoor work, but for the most part, this is a great all around lens, perfect for every day photography.
Whether you go to a museum, or on a tour, or at a birthday party, whatever, I always bring this lens along.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this for someone who wants a zoom lens that isn't too expensive, and can get great shots.

Canon 50mm f1.8 II
The Canon 50mm f1.8 II is my only prime lens, which to me, is the best bang for your buck lens.
This lens is one that I use as often as I can. Since its a prime, you have to move around a little to get closer/further from a subject, but the sharpness makes up for it.
Canon did come out with the 50mm f1.8 STM, which I've heard is better. Either way, the 50mm f1.8 is a great lens to get that is cheap, and gives you great quality.
I would definitely recommend this lens for someone who just got a DSLR.

Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS
The Canon 100-400mm is my go to wildlife lens. I was able to pick up a cheap one in mint condition from Ebay about a year and a half ago, and I've got some great results with it. Because I have a Full Frame, the 100-400mm is sometimes short for wildlife, but it can get the job done. The new Canon version of this lens has updated IS, and is better for focusing. If you have the money, I would recommend getting the new version. If you can't afford it (as it is a very expensive lens), try getting the older version.
I've seen some in great condition for pretty low prices, you just need to search around on Ebay, or Fred Miranda. Both are good places to buy from, as long as you make sure you are buying from a trusted seller.
